As a clean and environmental protection energy, ethanol gasoline has beenextensive used.it is feasible that using ethanol gasoline to solve the oil crisis andenvironmental problems. However, in the process of using ethanol gasoline, theethanol gasoline on rubber products of light automobile fuel supply system hascorrosive effects, and the problems of ethanol gasoline automobile is at least3-5times higher than gasoline. A lot of rubber parts is used in automotive, such as fueltube and diaphragm of fuel pressure regulator in the engine fuel supply system andrubber tube of emission systems, etc. In the process of using ethanol gasoline, it isfound that the corrosion of rubber diaphragm and fuel tube in the engine fuel supplysystem is more serious and aging faster than petrol, which limits to popularize theuse of ethanol gasoline.The research object for this paper is the fuel tube and rubber diaphragm oflight automobile engine fuel supply system and the representative for this paper isHFJ cars. The dynamic simulation of the fuel pressure regulator in all kinds of realwork running and dynamic fatigue test were done.In the first instance,the test-bed which consisted of fuel pump, vacuum pump,fuel pressure regulator and the DC power supply is designed. Through theregulation of hydraulic throttle valve, pneumatic throttle valve and flow meter,whileadopted the method that soaking the fuel pressure regulator in ethanol gasoline andpetrol for the anti-ethanol static experiment.In the second instance, the comparative analysis of the rubber diaphragm offuel pressure regulator and the fuel tube is finished for the change rate of thevolume, quality and hardness, the result state clearly that the ethanol gasoline hascorrosive characteristics to fuel tube and diaphragm of fuel pressure regulator in theengine fuel supply system and fule tube.Lastly,Through the corrosion mechanism analysis, it is proposed to use theanti-ethanol materials and the inner and outer of fuel tube can adopt theimprovement program that uniformly used nitrile-rubber, chlorinated polyetherblending rubber and all kinds of additives to manufacture.
