Primary Research On Landscape Culture And Its Sustainability

In the globalization age, the phenomenon of "the assimilation tendency "and" the quality unifying" appear in the landscape world, which makes national character, regional character etc of landscape culture much more important than they were in any ages before. Considering what is mentioned above, it is urgent to research landscape culture and its sustainability, thus the primary research on this subject is illustrated in this thesis.In the first section, connotation, construction, character and classifications of the landscape culture are presented. According to the relationship among human being, landscape, and landscape culture, firstly, the thesis illustrates the connotation of landscape culture in terms of its construction, the mutual relationship between landscape culture and human being, and the living demand of human being. Secondly, it analyses the construction of landscape culture and the relationship among scenery entities, arts, and philosophies; and it classifies the landscape culture on the basis of time, space, its status, social base and forming foundation. Thirdly, it points out the characters in landscape culture: steadily regional character, regional character, independence, and unifying character, delayed character, long-standing character and inheriting character.In the second section, the thesis discusses the connotation of sustainability of landscape culture, and explores the ways to keep its sustainability. Firstly, it comes up with the idea that landscape culture's sustainability contains two aspects: the sustainable occupation of the external environment and its inner stability, mutuality and development. Secondly, it proposes four principles of the sustainability of landscape culture: principle of diversity, ecological principle, human being based principle and opening principle. Thirdly, the thesis illustrates the ways to landscape culture's sustainability, in terms of the construction of landscape culture, the mutual relationship between landscape culture and human being, and the living demand of human being. Finally, the thesis especially puts much emphasis on treating landscape culture's sustainability from the angle of landscape . culture's construction, and discusses it in three aspects: scenery entities, arts, as well as philosophy.
