To the unbalance load, three-phase load currents have been analyzed with symmetrical components, and a matrix relationship between the load currents and compensation currents is established here. With the algorithm, MATLAB simulation was performed. The results of the simulation verified that this algorithm is effective to optimize the power factor compensation, and phase current and voltage compensation wave is improved as well. With the algorithm the hardware control system based on industrial computer is designed, which includes sampling circuit, protective circuit, phase compensated circuit and so on. The experimental results indicate the circuit is credible and the program runs well, and the feasibility of the compensation algorithm based on computer is tested, also the corresponding real waves with Var compensation are provided in the end of the paper.
