This document presents the theory and process of the design for a sensor BLDC motor using TMS320F240. Regard how to structure the control system with DSP chip - TMS320F240 as the center in this paper. The motor system using DSP has the characteristics of simple structure, lower system cost and increased performances. It suits kinds of control system.It is first expounded in the thesis that the specialty of controller TMS320F240 and function of it. Then, we talk about the basic component part, the basic running principle, the running characteristic and the transfer function of the BLDC motor. Followed, it analyses the course of changing phase and distributing of PWM signal. Based on these facts, we present the sensor solution for BLDC motor, design the hardware system and software system. The part of hardware design first expounds the whole design. Then the design of several primary circuits is discussed and the choice of some important electronic components and their parameters in these circuits is analysed. The part of software design also first discusses the whole design. Then some problems on software realization are dissertated.In the end, we discuss the system debugging and some problem occurred during it. Then we observe parameters of actual system using digital oscillograph and give a conclusion. In fact, the control system work well as it was expected.
