The ownership of private cars grows sharply with the increasing developmentof economics and ceaseless advancement of urbanization. Subsequently, roadwaysavailable cannot meet the needs of expanding urban traffic demands. Recently, allcountries worldwide are faced with extremely tough traffic problems includingtraffic congestion, traffic accidents and environment pollution. To solve so manytraffic problems under the condition of limited area for rebuilding, ITS(Intelligent Transportation Systems) are put forward to release traffic congestionand improve transportation efficiency. Since 1960, some developed countries suchas Japan, America and Germany has devoted much finance and human resource todo research in ITS sub-systems ATIS (Advanced Traffic Information System),ATMS (Advanced Traffic Management System) and DRGS (Dynamic RouteGuidance System), Now forty years have past, many remarkable fruits have beenachieved in the field of ITS. In China, ITS have also got many satisfactory successes and have done greatcontribution to effectively resolving traffic problems. In 2001, ten ITSdemonstration cities authorized by Science and Technology Ministry of China wereready to construct Integrated Traffic Information Platform (ITIP) in coincidence.Among them, ITIPs in Guangzhou, Tianjin, Beijing and Jinan have been listed asITS experimental demonstration projects during the tenth five years plan. ITIP is aconcept of the integration of ATIS, ATMS and DRGS, its main functions includecollecting various traffic information then processing information with dada fusionand disseminate assistant decision-making information, ITIP will do convenienceto help traveler and traffic manager, thus come to the aim of release trafficcongestion, lower accidents rates and improve transportation efficiency. This dissertation is supported by Shenzhen project"Study of TrafficInformation Collection and Integrated Traffic Information Platform". Firstly, thedissertation analyzes prevailing ITS systems and the exist problems in Shenzhen 80吉林大学硕士学位论文 深圳市综合交通信息平台系统设计与关键技术研究city, then puts forward the architecture, function modules of Shenzhen ITIP as wellas the description of data stream. In the whole study, the key technologies includingData Fusion (DF) and Travel Time Prediction (TTP) in ITIP are expatiated asimportant parts. The more details are as follows: Chapter 1: Introduction. This part first introduces ITS development at homeand abroad, and emphasizes the theory research and experimental systems in ATISfield both in America, Japan and Europe. Then the author illuminates thesignificance of this dissertation and provides the main contents. Chapter 2: Analysis of ITS systems in Shenzhen city. Throughcomprehensive survey in Police Traffic Bureau, transportation department, andResource Planning Bureau of Shenzhen city, this part concludes prevailing ITSdeployments of Shenzhen and also points out the existing problems thus providingpremise for making ITIP system design pertinently. Chapter 3: System design for Shenzhen ITIP. This part analyzes theimportance to construct ITIP in Shenzhen city, then definitudes ITIP informationdemands, function demands, performance demands and configures the architectureof Shenzhen ITIP. Further more, the integrated system design, divided functionmodules and data stream among them are described in details. Chapter 4: The application of traffic data fusion in Shenzhen ITIP. In thispart, the importance of traffic data fusion is emphasized firstly, and the a fewcommon data fusion technologies such as Bayesian Estimation and KalmanFilter. Based on the deep study of data fusion and travel time prediction inADVANCE, This part puts forward the original conception of locally recurrentneural network data fusion application in Shenzhen ITIP, and the detailed neuralnet...
