Research On Railway Mobile Ticketing System

Implementation of TRS (Railway Ticketing and Reservation System) modernized the management of railway tickets, made it very convenient for passengers to buy tickets or have a trip, and improved the operative level of passenger transport and the quality of service. As the economy of our country developing, the development of TRS presents many new characters and requirements, such as extended service of TRS outspreads, TRS business is diversified, and make it convenient for passengers to buy tickets. The development of computer technology and communication technology also make it possible to diversify ticketing mode and TRS operation s Under such conditions, it meant very important to research on Railway Mobile Ticketing System.This article is based on three years experiences of research and work, stresses research on relative technology of Railway Mobile Ticketing System, put forward a whole project of Railway Mobile Ticketing System, design and implement the Railway Mobile Ticketing System on Train and Railway Mobile Ticketing System respectively, and research on key techniques of them.The whole project of Railway Mobile Ticketing System is layered three or four layer, includes Railway Mobile Ticketing System on Train and Railway Mobile Ticketing System, connects to TRS from district center, takes CDMAlx of China Unicom as wireless access mode, adopts J2ME as developing platform, C/C++ as substitutive platform, applies identity certification, encoded data transmitting, backup sale record and record operation logs as security measures.Railway Mobile Ticketing System on Train consists of ticketing subsystem on train and management subsystem. It adopts two running modes, one is stand-alone mode, the other is online mode, applies some key techniques such as computation of ticket fare, synchronization of data and designation of format of ticket surface etc, takes a series of security measures, achieves ticketing on train, recording left seats, settling accounts and statistics.Railway Mobile Ticketing System consists of ticketing subsystem, mobile communicating agent subsystem, TRS application subsystem, security and identity certification subsystem, background management subsystem. It adopts wireless network as data transmitting access, connects to TRS from district center, applies some security measures such as identity certification, encoded data transmitting, backup sale record and record operation logs, achieves mobile ticketing, information collecting and passenger inquiring on train or at the stations that can not connect to TRS.Now, Mobile Ticketing System on Train has been employed for more than two years, and is of much benefit to economics and society. Mobile Ticketing System has just finished system testing, and achieved the demand of actually employing.
