At present longtitudinal ventilation has been the main way of long highway tunnel ventilation systems in working status in China. The control method selection of longtitudinal ventilation system that has direct impact on safety, comfortability of vehicle and expense of electricity, is one of the key technology that makes vehicle run rapidly, effectively, safely and comfortably on senior highway.,Based on Beipei tunneland Xishanping tunnel being built in Yuhe highway, the paper does its researches. Firstly, by analyzing and studying domestic and abroad exsiting conditions on long highway tunnel ventilation control systems and feed forward ventilation control system model in this article, the author does the numerical simulation studying the pollutant concentration longtitudinal distributions rules along tunnel according to computational fluid dynamics fundamental principle and one-dimensional unsteady convection-diffusion equation. Then a simplified mathematical model is put forward and a corresponding program is developed. The program, which is finished under the compiling environment of Microsoft VisualC++ 6. 0, has two functions below: (1) application to designs of the highway tunnel ventilation; (2) interfacing with the communication flow prediction model, predicting the number of jet fans to realize the feed forward ventilation of long highway tunnel.Finally, the program produces the number of fitting or running jet fans about two tunnel examples. The fruits of the research are providing some important fundamental information for the implementation of a feed forward ventilation control system.
