The reinforced concrete slab is the most extensive construction form in current usage. For the capability of bearing force and the reactive characteristic under loads or the reasonable design method and construct measure, is the task that the construct researcher and Engineers go deep into all through the ages. With the increasing complication of building function and the advent of intelligent buildings, more complicated facilities are required. At the same time, many pipes, lines and elevators have to go through floors by openings. The reinforced concrete plate changes its mechanical behavior after openings and stress concentration will appear around the opening. So, in this thesis, discussing the interrelated theory and by using finite element method (ANSYS),fixed Supported Square Plates with openings for different location and size of the openings are investigated. The mechanics rule of plates after openings are presented. A comparison is made for the above plates and the plates supported in three sides and the cantilever of plate in approximate boundary conditions. Some approximate results are obtained. At the same time, based on different shear-resisting carrying formula of capacity, this thesis developed different mathematic models respectively, and analyzed various influences to shear-resisting carrying capacity of slab. Beginning with building reinforced concrete slab modeling, the discretization of steel and concrete, constitutive equations and failure criterion etc. are discussed, then the analysis of a reinforced concrete slab using above models and failure criterion is made. At last, the numerical modeling is compared with experimental load-deflection responses in order to conform the feasibility of discrete model. Several design suggestions are presented for later engineering practice.Though, using the ANSYS analysis reinforced concrete slab still has the shortage, but using the slab hull unit to imitate the reinforced concrete , however, is a finite element method in common usage at present, and ANSYS conduct and actions as an nonlinear analysis software can imitate really the bearing forced structural state, clear and definite the distributing district of stress, guiding physically the practical engineering designs, construction.
