A Study Of Technology Testing The Transient Inside-Wall Temperature Of Gun Tube

The inside-wall temperature of gun tube is an important parameter when we research into ablation of the tube or evaluate the life of tube. In the meantime, we need to know the temperature if we want to make a more accurate study of interial ballistics .In this circumstances, we make a study about testing the transient inside-wall temperature of gun tube. In 14.5mm machine-gun, with a special temperature sensor and a system that collects signal, I perform a temperature-measured experiment on one point keeping a distance from the inside wall.After the experiment, I mainly research into two kinds of temperature-extrapolated technology, namely extrapolating on the base of analytical or numerical method. Detailedly, I deduce the formulas relevant. Then I write a software extrapolating inside-wall temperature of 14.5mm machine-gun. At last, I analyse error of the result.
