This dissertation, based on the analysis of present research and development situation on foreign bundler machine control system. And system composion, key technology involved, hardware and software design of control system are studied deeply and systematically in order to develop the control system for bundle machine, which runs stably, reliably and high-automaticly.. In chapter one, firstly the dissertation introduces the background of steel-tube bundler machine's research, and explains the requisition of developing steel-tube bundler machine. Then the dissertation makes a review of developing situation of the machine at home and abroad, other technologies involved are also analyzed. Lastly the main work of this dissertation and the content arrangement are concluded.In chapter two, the requirement of the steel tube packaging and the design reference of the bundler machine are firstly introduced. And the theory by which the tubes stack in hexagon is detailly analyzed. Then the composite mechanism of the bundler machine is briefly presented. The technics program of steel-tube bundler machine is elaborated in the end.In chapter three, firstly combining the composite of mechatronics control system, the dissertation brings forward the whole scheme of control system, then elaborates the design and realization scheme of compute system, driving system, signal collection and detection system in the control system.In chapter four, key technology in control system is mainly analyzed, including the technique of Profibus-DP, the technique of electromagnetism suspending without touching control and demagnetizing, the technique of driving in synchronization of hydraulic pressure cylinder and digital PID control. And the theory of key technique and the scheme which the key technique adopts in the control system are expatiated.In chapter five, firstly the electric control modules are divided in the control system, and the whole scheme of electric control is presented. Then the constitutes and collocation of the electric equipment, the electric interface of the PLC input and output, the design of distribution electric system and the electric design of alternating electromotor frequency conversion control are respectively analyzed.In chapter six, tools of software exploitation are firstly introduced, and the requirement and the function of software design in control system are dissertated. Then the design of PLC control software and surveillance software is deeply analyzed.In chapter seven, the research work of dissertation is summarized and the further research that will be done is given.
