Automation-tissue-dehydrating machine is a medical equipment through which people can analyze pathological tissue. It includes the following five functions: fixation, washing, dehydrating, endosmosis and marinating in paraffin. The paper introduces the realization of the control system and user interface of Automation-tissue-dehydrating machine. The control system of automation-tissue-dehydrating machine is composed of two parts. Firstly, the control system of stepping motor and valve-pipeline system through the single chip computer--PIC16F874 and the embedded computer. Secondly, the control system of nonstandard keyboard and display through the single chip computer-MCS8051 and the embedded computer. At first, the paper analyzes the theory of the above two parts, then, the paper designs the hardware and software system of the control system. Therefore, through the interaction of the single chip computer and embedded computer, we can realize the whole control system of automation-tissue-dehydrating machine. In order to handle the machine conveniently and visually, the paper adopts the means of programming. Because the operating system of the embedded computer is DOS operating system, we use Turbo C to program the user interface so that we can write the source program into the embedded computer. So, the user can handle the machine through keyboard, in the meantime, they can observe the process of the operation. The automation-tissue-dehydrating machine can be used both in clinical medicine for endosmosis of tissue and in the study of tissue-pathology.
