| The status of energy losses in the power system is one of the important, integrated, economic and technical parameters. Accurate and simple methods for calculating and analyzing energy losses benefit for working out reasonable measures for decreasing the energy losses and examining the actual effect of them. This paper introduces how to develop a software real-time and accurately calculating energy losses in the transmission system of 110kv and upward. It is mentioned the basic algorithm of the software based on data real-time measured, the collection and transmission of data, the communication between the software and database, and the GUI (Graphic Users Interface) of it.As the development of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) technique, the calculation of energy losses in the power system can use the data real-time measured. However, the problems ensuring the simultaneity of all data, the completeness of data and the bad data to be avoided are the keys to the calculation used the data real-time measured. The approaches to solve the problems mentioned above are presented in the paper. It describes how to use the GPS (Global Position System) to improve the simultaneity of all data. Through the interface procedure, the operating parameters are obtained directly from the historical database and real-time database of the automatic dispatching system. The obtained data is processed by method of the state estimation using fast decoupled P-Q. It can make the data more exact. And then the accurate energy losses in the transmission system can be calculated. In addition, the paper introduces the GUI which makes users use the software conveniently. The paper is composed of six chapters. Chapter one presents the basic theory of calculating energy losses in the power system. Chapter two describes the collection and the transmission of data. Chapter three introduces the interface between the software and database. Chapter four presents the basic algorithm of calculating energy losses. Chapter five introduces the GUI. Chapter six brings out the plan calculating the energy losses in the transmission system of Hengyang, Hunan Province. Chapter seven draws a conclusion and prospects the foreground of calculating energy losses in the transmission system. |
