Bridge design and construction with the aid of computer is an effective method and the development trend in the future.The key of issue in the computer-aided bridge design is the innovation of bridge modeling technology.The bridge modeling that can reflect the substantial features of bridge design is the theoretic basis of bridge computer-aided design research and development,and have both theoretic and application values.In this dissertation,an graphical-driven bridge modeling method which can reflect the bridge design feature is built,and its computer implementation environment is realized.With proposed modeling method,the bridge design process can be finished by creating and operating function graphic object(FGO),and the bridge software with high performance,personalization and integration can be easily developed.The main issues related to this new bridge modeling mode such as FGO-oriented modeling theory and method,engineering data model,graphic system and engineering database management system are studied in details.A universal bridge design model which can reflect the bridge design substantial features are conceived.The effectiveness and adaptation of the proposed modeling method is demonstrated by a case study of real bridge design.The main contents and contribution of this dissertation include:1.The nonfigurative data types such as featured line,featured line array,featured line array set are proposed to describe the FGO data model.The structure and implementation method of those nonfigurative data types and how to describe the geometric topological information and related varied structured engineering information are discussed.The proposed nonfigurative data type model that can avoid the complexity of leveled structured engineering data of complex engineering objects,is a new descriptive model of engineering data.2.FGO property and behavior features are studied,including FGO data structure,multi-visualization,independence,creation and operation method.The established FGO not only can be used as independent application software but also can be used as a step of application software.It is an effective mode to describe the graphic object description.3.An FGO-oriented modeling technology is presented.This technology is a modeling methodology that is different from the conventional object-oriented technology.It is based on the FGO as a basic modeling object where the engineering design steps are abstracted to FGO-based object.The relationship between FGOs is dependent and cooperative.Through the cooperation information and specialized functions among FGOs,an interactive engineering design model that has the characteristic of super graphic structure is built. 4.An FOO-oriented computer implementation environment is developed,including the graphic system and related database management system.The development strategy,system structure,system object model feature,and FGO creation principle,operation,and management are discussed in details.It is demonstrated that the graphic system possesses the function of engineering database management.There are a wide range of potential application values.5.An universal bridge design model that has the cooperative relationship is proposed based on the FGO-oriented technique.According to the concrete features of bridge design,the possibility and basic characteristic of an universal bridge design model to describe the whole process of bridge design are discussed. With regard to the structural analysis and calculation,an FGO-oriented object is built and corresponding graphic driven bridge structural analysis method is realized.As a result,the personalized and effective bridge structural analysis method is provided.The detailed bridge design and modeling method based on the FGO-oriented object are presented,in which all kinds of design objects, design relationship,design model,design experience and design code information come from the abstract among typical detailed design drawings.In addition,the FGO-oriented object can provide the varied bridge detailed design methods such as parametric method,local automation,local modification,deformation design, sub problem plan divided method.6.An integrated object model for the design calculation and construction detailed drawings of section-varied cantilever prestressed concrete bridge is presented.As an example of bridge design,the super structural design calculation and detailed design of a section-varied cantilever prestressed concrete bridge is selected.With this end,the FGO-based object model that can represent the substantial bridge structural features and is easy to be understood is created.The model elements include FGO-based objects,FGO group,FGO group set etc.It is demonstrated that the other similar integrated object models can be easily created by adding other FGO-based objects,FGO group,FGO group set to the FGO model.The super structural design calculation and detailed design of a section-varied cantilever prestressed concrete bridge can be realized fast just by operating the FGOs.The feasibility and high efficiency is validated.
