| The Zengbo Flood Control Dike Project in Zengchen was introduced in this thesis. According to the exisisting water seepage of the Dike and the flood characteristics in the Zeng River and in the North-east Main stream, this thesis analysis the possible seepage control methods and suggested the best seepage-control methods both for the dike and its basement.The thesis is composed of five Chapters:In chapter one, the Zengbo Flood Control Dike Project and its seepage, which was found during the operation in the past several years and the flood disaster were introducedIn chapter two, the geology of the dike body and it's basement was introduced. Special analysis was focus on the geology and the soil or rock physical and mechanics index in ancient flow way, the point of breaking, pipe seepage and the fishing pool. The evaluation in engineering geology was presented.In Chapter three, the seepage of dike body and its basement were simulated. For the structure and boundary condiction of the dike body is relatively simple, ordinal two dimentional finite element menthod was used for the simulation, while the basement if the dike is relatively complicated, in which there are several layer with different penetration, the improved horizontal finite element menthod was used for the seepage analyse.Based on the simulated results in chapter three, several alterlatives of seepage control were compared and evulated in chepter four. The comparations were mainly focus on the cost. Based on local payment capability, the near and long term seepage control mentod and the stage operation step were suggested.In chapter five, the whole thesis was summarized. |
