Research On Detection And Strengthening For Old Bridges In The Urban Of GuiYang

It is for some outside factors such as excessive load and surroundings that old bridges in the Urban of Guiyang suffer diseases and damages which bring dangers for the people to some degree during their long time working. So it is important to detect these old bridge comprehensively. This paper chooses some representative bridge among these old stone arch bridges, reinforced concrete girder bridges, reinforced concrete arch bridges and detects their structures detailedly through datum queries, exploring on the spot, strength detection, static experiments. We summarized all kinds of problems existing in the old bridge by analyzing those detected datum and contrasting with the other bridges. Also, the author gets the synthetical estimation of old urban bridges and ascertains their limited load grades. Meantime, basing on these founded problems, the author gives the points for attention in the daily maintenance. For some structures which need repairing and strengthening, the author mentions some corresponding measures such as anchor spraying, stick steel plate and chemical grouting amending. These repairing and strengthening maintenance measures not only eliminate hidden trouble of security of old bridges but also enhance their bearing and traffic valume capacity. Measures that the paper havs studied would prolong the life span of old bridges.
