This project originates from The National High-technology Development and Research Plan, named "The Research and Application on New Spatial-Cycloid-Ball Gearing",(No. 2001AA423190). Precision transmission device is one kind of the key fundamental components, which are extensively applied to many industry fields including robot industry, machine industry, instrument industry ect. The new spatial cam sliding tooth precision transmission not only inherits the merits of the common dynamic sliding tooth transmission such as more tooth meshing and high meshing rigidity, but also has new characters such as simple structure, meshing clearance can be adjusted and high transmission precision ect. Therefore, further researches on it's transmission characters deserve great significance to optimizing the design parameters and further improving the device's capabilities.According to the new spatial cam sliding tooth precision transmission's characters, this thesis emphasizes on the studies of the new device's transmission speciality, including movement analysis, elastohydrodynamic lubrication analysis, precision analysis ect. The key manufacturing technologies research and experiment research are carried out. Major contents of this thesis are as follows:1. The relatively velocity's computing formulas of this new spatial cam sliding tooth precision transmission meshing joggle's each contacting point are deduced, and the data computing are accomplished.2. According to the elastohydrodynamic lubrication theories, the dynamic lubrication characters at each contacting point of this new transmission are studied.3. According to the characters of the new spatial cam sliding tooth precision transmission, applying the single factor method, the device's transmission error is analyzed respectively while the input cam, the sliding tooth frame and the face tooth have manufacturing error.4. The key manufacturing technologies of the main meshing components are studied, the design and manufacture of the different transmission ratio and different power's reducers are accomplished.5. Experiments on this new spatial cam sliding tooth precision transmission are carried out.
