Research Of Mountainous Campus Space Renovate Design

With the development of urbanization , the higher education is facing good opportunities. Many campuses welcome expansion , renewal and newly-built buildings. The construction of mountainous campuses has been an important component of campus' construction. And its renewal is a main way of the construction of buildings and facilities in mountainous campuses. Since the construction of mountainous campuses is restricted by topographical conditions , and it is more outstanding and more special to solve the problems in design. The emphasis of this thesis is how to handle the relation between space demand and space structure increased day by day in the limited area, view and the sustainable development of the area.The thesis analyses the features of space development and concludes the mountainous campus' status quo. On this basis, it summarizes main factors influencing them .In line with the view of the whole , system , development, as the foundation with urban design and campus renewal ,this thesis has carried on systematic ground research on the design strategy to the space of mountainous campus and, at the same time, has a further discussion combined with the practice.At first, the thesis has reviewed the characteristics and status quo of mountainous campuses. It briefly points out that mountainous campus space has experienced a Centralized-Scattering-Aggregation process. Mountainous campus has many questions to solve.Secondly, the thesis analyses in depth various kinds of factors influencing the space of mountainous campus, point out that natural factors,such as about geology, topography , climate, hydrology, vegetation and humane factors of politics , economy , teaching mode, design idea and technological progress ,etc,are important change reasons. On the basis of preceding paragraphs, this thesis say that we should be in compliance with the principles of continuity , harmony , variety and ecology guidance to construct the design strategy to the space structure ,the building and its external environment.Then the thesis carries out of the further investigation on the design strategy to the concrete target .In renewal design strategy of campus space structure,it proposes that land utilization should be under the principles of "low density ,high capacity and three-dimensional ", separate to concentrate ; function subarea should be "group reunion and decentralization" , opening , social, sustainable; road system should be systematic, to assign to the level are adjusted. Among building and his newer layout strategy of external environment condition, is it strengthen axis , respect history to propose, many building colony of mode upgrade, the outside space classified on campus square , afforesting , water body , facility is upgraded , rich in the characteristic rebuild of mountain region , the single campus architectural style of upgrading and the same type , comparing with type different tactics of building extended , rebuilding , newly building passes on and innovates. Finally, the thesis analyses and explains the design strstegies in practical cases, with the campus space renovation of Chongqing University A&B Districts as an example.
