Study On Adaptive Renovation Design Of Streets In Mountainous Cities Under The Background Of Urban Renewal

China is a mountainous country whose distribution and the number of mountain cities occupied a significant proportion.After a long-term development of human society,the construction of street space in these cities gradually adapts to the natural environment,forming its unique regional features.In recent 40 years after the reform and opening up,China has carried out rapid urbanization development.Although it has promoted the economic growth of mountainous areas,it has also produced a large number of adverse effects on urban streets.For example,the street’s texture was destroyed,the regional culture was cut off,and geographical features disappeared.Nowadays,China has entered a new era of urban stock renewal,and the street’s spaces in mountainous cities are facing the double dilemma of continuing regional culture and adapting to the development of The Times.If they want to get out of the difficulty,it is necessary to establish a reasonable design concept of renovation.In this context,adaptability theory is lead up to this paper.By analyzing the thoughts of “system”,“symbiosis” and “succession”,the study established the connection between adaptability theory and street’s renovation.It provides a new idea for the street’s renewal in Chinese mountainous cities.This paper follows the research idea of “proposing problems – analyzing problems – studying cases – solving problems – practice verification”.Firstly,to clarify the significance of adaptive renovation for the development of streets in mountainous cities while the research status at home and abroad is describing.Furthermore,by the definition of relevant concepts,the updated content is clarified,and based on the adaptability theory,constructed the main idea of urban street space renovation of the mountainous city.Lastly,by the analysis of three specific cases’ ideas,strategies,and techniques,to conclude the application method of the adaptability theory.By this method,this paper puts forward the design strategy of adaptive renovation in mountainous cities’ streets to guide the design practice.The main results of this study are as follows:Firstly,analyzing the relationship and connotation of the three basic ideas of adaptability theory--“system”,“symbiosis” and “succession” systematically,and establishing the spatial renovation design concept of mountainous cities’ streets based on the adaptability theory.Secondly,the three basic ideas--“system”,“symbiosis” and “succession”--are led up to the research on the spatial renovation design.Moreover,through the analysis of design elements and relevant practical cases,the paper puts forward the spatial renovation design strategy of mountainous cities’ streets with the core of the adaptability concept.
