| Through the training of simulator, the run level of operator is improved. And the training of simulator acts an important role to the safety of power. With the more request of automatic degree, especially the widely application of DCS, the adoption of DCS simulator becomes admissive. However, there are two problems about DCS training simulator. One is that the function is unfairly distributed. For example, the teacher, the engineering and the operator are too light. But the model acts as process modern and control modern, so it is very busy. The other is that the simulator meets the real-time at the cost of simple model and higher model hardware. Thus the cost is improved.In order to solve these problems, the main work is as followed:â‘ The design of the main memory-relation databaseThe paper compares the relation database with the real time database and main memory database. DCS Simulator adopts the main memory-relation database. The design of the main memory-relation database includes the database organization, the index, the transaction priority, back up and restore of the database.â‘¡ The control block and configurationThe control block is separated from the model. To the configuration, the simulator adopts the method similar to the DCS and the design of translation. In this paper, ICC is designed in Delphi, and the control block is designed in database. â‘¢ the application of the translationDuring the design of the control block, the translation is brought forward. The application has two aspects. One is that the real DCS result is translated into ICC. The other is that ICC is applicable to other real DCS.In the paper, system experiment and two dynamic trails are made. One is about the load 100% reject. The other is the trip of a draft. The control model separated is feasible. The application of translation contributes to the currency of simulator. On the condition of model hardware reduced, the main memory- relation database makes the simulator to meet the real-time.
