In this manuscript, the control logic of ABS is discussed. The controller model based on the threshold of acceleration and deceleration is studied in MATLAB software. At the same time, the specification of ECU and hardware structure is introduced. The process of ABS control logic for deceleration threshold and reference slip is analyzed. By the visual software of Labview and combined with C language, the test program is made. The test method of ECU is designed. The input and output test for ECU also is designed. In this stand, the function includes: the serial communication between computer and ECU, the capture of wheel speed pulse, the output of valve signal. Taking advantage of vehicle system model, the control logic of ECU under different braking conditions is simulated. The various failure of ECU can be made in this stand in order to examine the ability of ECU self diagnostics. The input and output port of ECU which is connected with signal conditional box and special acquiring card of ISA bus are made. Combined with industrial computer, an integrated ECU test system is formed. With this equipment, the different ECU port can be connected for test。 It can simulate various working condition of ECU under inside room. Especially, it can simulate ECU dynamic working process by hardware–in-the- loop simulation. Through the dynamic and static check of test stand, it ensures the reliability of ECU in real vehicle. It is important to develop the ABS ECU, study the control algorithm of ABS, and validate control logic of existing ECU. At the same time, it can be also used as check equipment for ABS ECU.
