Aiming at the practical problem that the equipment service and maintenance personnel of Air Traffic Control Radar(ATCR)have difficulties on real equipment training,this thesis presents an ATCR system simulation method based on the mixed programming of LabVIEW and Matlab,by the Matlab Script node in the LabVIEW graphical development environment which possesses the human-computer intersection and visualization characteristics to call the Matlab language whose strength is in scientific computing and system simulation.In this thesis,firstly the mathematical model and simulation of ATCR's emission,receiver and signal processing subsystems with Matlab language are established.Secondly,by using Matlab Script node to join LabVIEW and Matlab,the working states of emission,receiver and signal processing subsystems under both normal and fault conditions are represented.In this step,taking the advantage of the Matlab Script node which can separate the input,algorithm and output,the interactive parameter setup is realized based on the built-in parameter input virtual instrument(VI)of LabVIEW,meanwhile the virtual vision of the subsystems' working states are realized based on the built-in output VI of LabVIEW,such as the oscilloscope VI,spectrum analyzer VI,time-frequency analyzer VI,pilot light VI,instrument light VI,and the signal flow of ATCR's emission,receiver and signal processing subsystems are also represented.Thirdly,the association,combination,fractionation,transformation and optimization of the input and output from different subsystems and modules are presented based on the logic programming of LabVIEW.At last,the scene setups ports and display ports which have human-computer intersection function are integrated under the LabVIEW graphical development environment,in order to realize the depth simulation on ATCR.The proposed ATCR system simulation method based on the mixed programming of LabVIEW and Matlab provides highly vivid training and examination platform for equipment service and maintenance personnel,and it can debase the training cost greatly.The achievements can increase technical competence of the equipment service and maintenance personnel of Air Traffic Control Radar(ATCR),with the high practical worth and economic value.
