Measurement and control system of Automotive Transmission Test Rig works as it’s nervous system. Automobile Transmission Test Rig is important for studying vibration characteristics and fatigue properties of the vehicle’s driving system. According to the requirements of the test rig, Automotive Transmission Measurement and Control System can acquire, process, display and storage test bench parameters while output control signal to control test bench to complete the test tasks.With the support of the subject "automotive transmission test rig", a measurement and control system based on fuzzy logic was designed to acquire relevant parameters and to use fuzzy control method to control the opening of the accelerator pedal to the control the engine speed to complete the relevant test. The main contents are as follows:(1) Elaborate the structure and working principle of automobile transmission test rig. By analyzing the needs of measurement and control system and actual conditions, an measurement and control systems designed and it was realized through hardware.(2) The Measurement system program was developed. The signal will need to be tested into three categories, and programmed individually. Analog signals and digital signals of the measure program were programed. CAN bus was introduced, and the powertrain condition monitoring program based on CAN bus was programed based on the known powertrain database.(3)Basic theory was introduced and the control system program was developed. According to the original car model, the resistance force the powertrain need to conquer was calculated and the load parameters of the Dynamometer Controller under road resistance mode were calculated. The resistances between the electronic accelerator pedal nodes were measured, correspondence between the electronic accelerator pedal opening and signals’ voltage is calculated according to the circuit diagram of the electronic accelerator pedal and the program of the electronic accelerator pedal output voltage was prepared. Electronic accelerator pedal opening control program based on fuzzy control method and target speed search program were prepared. The program can control the accelerator pedal opening with fuzzy control method based on the set speed-time curve.(4) Measurement and Control system has been verified. The control electronic accelerator pedal opening was calibrated through the least square method based on actual accelerator pedal opening from the CAN bus. Read and display the parameters of the drive shaft torque, as well as the main interface display. Tip-in test was carried out, and the impact degree of the drive shaft was obtained. Step acceleration, uniform acceleration and part of ECE cycle test was carried out to verify the functionality of measurement and control system. The test showed that the system meet the original design requirements, laid the foundation for the subsequent development of the test.
