Study On One-way Traffic Effect, Planning And Synthesizing Evaluation In Urban Road

In this thesis, one-way traffic is systematically researched with the system engineering, which based on traffic engineering and traffic planning theory. Based on the analysis of urban traffic problems in China, the adaptation of one-way traffic at home and abroad is combined, the 4 aspects are researched and analyzed, such as one-way traffic theory, one-way traffic impact, synthesizing evaluation of one-way traffic planning scheme, one-way traffic network planning, and gathered up as flows:1. According to the traffic engineering and traffic management & planning theory, one-way traffic theory is elaborated by the means of system engineering. The one-way traffic lane utilization effect, weakness and strengths, terms of adaptation, matters are discussed, the traffic characteristics of one-way traffic are analyzed from the 4 aspects such as the complexity of crossing, the light-controlled effect, the arterial-controlled effect, the left-turn and right-turn on dual arterial.2. One-way traffic effect is analyzed. The crossing capacity effect of one-way traffic is analyzed mainly from the left-turn traffic and the variety of effective green time, the variety of crossing delay is analyzed with the service-level model, the one-way traffic effects on public transit and surroundings district are also analyzed.3. The one-way traffic network planning is discussed. The theories foundation, planning procedure, target and principles of one-way traffic network planning are expounded, then the traffic volume forecast of road network and the synthesizing evaluation of system are discussed after adoption one-way traffic.4. The synthesizing evaluation index system of one-way traffic planning scheme is analyzed and established. The estimation matrix is constructed with AHP, and the weight of every index is ascertained. The variable weight theory is introduced, one-way traffic planning scheme is synthetically evaluated and analyzed with the synthesizing evaluation model of variable weight and part variable weight.Finally, the utilizing of one-way traffic in Chengdu is introduced, then the existing problems are analyzed and the proposals are suggested, which has some guidance significance for the urban traffic problems' settlement.
