With the awareness of environmental standard enhanced, people gradually recognize the importance of the radioactive problem in architectural material. Rays emitted by radioactive architectural material can hurt people invisibly especially γ-ray, so the radioactive measurement of architectural material is the most important. Based on the theories and foreign technical practice, I research the radioactive measurement of architectural material .At the present time the instruments are mainly made up of commercial computer and ISA card that has the function of the instrument. These instruments have high precision and good interface, but they can not be used on wild field for the problem of power. The other kinds instrument are made up of Single Chip Micro-computer, this instrument can be used on wild field , but their precision and interface is not good.This thesis introduces the portable High-precision spectrometer based on embedded industry computer. The portable spectrometer is based on the embedded industry computer (S104/sx-320) and employs the A/D integrated circuit with 12 bits and peak detector(PKD-01) to get the data of the γ-ray intellectually. The system employs digital filter to achieve the high precision. So it is a multi-channel Spectrometer which consists of hardware and software.This thesis introduces the theory of the radioactive measurement and realization of hardware and software. What is more important this thesis introduces the method and realization of data acquisition. This thesis also introduces the data processing of software so acquire the high precision. In addition it introduces the construction and characteristic of the software and interface and the design of interrupt program and serial-communication program. Through the research and design what mentioned above, the spectrometer not only have high precision and good interface but also can use in the architectural material factory for it is portable. The spectrometer have good effect in radioactive measurement of architectural material .it have good application foreground.
