The paper investigates the design of the Information air-conditon intelligent controller basedon the Field Programmable Gate Array.At first, the implementation of intelligent control algorithm IP firm-core based on FPGA areinvestigated, includes the hardware circuit design of the fuzzy self-tuning PID controller and theneural network self-tuning PID controller. First , with the simulator of SIMULINK the fuzzyinference rules of fuzzy self-tuning PID controller and the algorithm architecture of the controllerare optimized,the fuzzy self-tuning PID control algorithm IP firm-core based on the FPGA of isdesigned , the closed loop system includes the controller and the given object model is simulatedto test the Fuzzy-PID controller . Second, the controller is designed in MATLAB, the neuralnetwork is trained with the improved BP algorithm based on the given object model in the closedcontrol system to take the perfect system output. Depending on the network weights, the neuralnetwork self-tuning PID control algorithm IP firm-core based on the FPGA is designed, the closedloop system includes the controller and the given object model is simulated to test the NN-PIDcontroller. The experiment indicates the designs are accurate.Then, the intelligent controller based on SOPC is designed. The intelligent controller isintegrated in the SOPC as the user logic,and with the CPU and Peripherals IP cores from theAltera IP Megastore build the hardware system, then application is designed to run the system .The study indicates that the parallel hardware circuit of intelligent controller based on FPGAis fit to the fast and real-time information processor and it is a new and efficiency method toimplement the intelligent controller based on the FPGA/SOPC with the IP reuse technology andthe HW/SW co-design mothed.
