In development process of a new armored vehicle model, the model demonstration is a very important phase to transfer a serie of demand indexes into design criteria guiding the later continuous jobs. In order to realize that all demonstration goals are descripted exactly with feasible technological directions, suitable and acceptable developing cost and cycle, and advanced and reliable performance, many kinds of related information and data are needed to consult, but the old methods saving data and traditional ways to administrate and search them purely by handwork have obstructed the efficiency of demonstration work badly. So computer aided demonstrateon information management and sharable data remote query play an important role in the rapid development of demonstration work for armored vehicle model, making it more quantificational, scientific, impersonal and effective.A new demonstration information management system is brought forward according to the new characteristics and requirements of present model demonstration. It concentrates strong points of the C/S and B/S framework to make the system run more steadily, flexibly and safely than traditional information systems. It also heightens the developing efficiency and explores a new way to achieve some related systems by analyzing with UML, designing in MVC model and adopting divided EJB components. It has accomplished the platform managing demonstrating information to add, delete, modify, search them expediently, and provided the remote query by internet, leaders inspecting and data transmitting safely demanded in original design.In this paper, the system is analysed in its requests, developing principles, functions and work flows with UML. Next, some pivotal technologies as designing tools, developing methods, database management system and application servers are chosen after carefully comparing. Based on distributed component object, object-orient technology and database, this paper discusses the general technical process of the system and its module composing, illuminates every part designing with EJB of J2EE in MVC pattern, emphasis on the realization of presentation layer and the interface definition between presentation layer and operation layer. It also explains RMI, JNDI, Java value object and some other related technologies.
