Research On Remote Service System Of Mechanical Design Based On ASP Model

Informationization is a main trend of manufacturing industry in the world. How to realize informationization for small and medium-sized enterprises,whichs are limited of fund, technology and talents, has already become a general problem. Application Service Provider(ASP), the new service model based on Internet, is an effective solution of informationization for small and medium-sized enterprises. How to offer the application service in the fields of design and manufacturing for small and medium-sized enterprises based on ASP model are still at the stage of exploration.Upon the background this paper proposes a kind of remote service model of mechanical design based on ASP model, builds its support system, and research the key technologies of system realizition. The main contents are listed as following:Firstly, the concept and features of ASP are introduced. And the relationship between manufacturing informationization and ASP model are analyzed . The contents, the method and the structure of ASP platform facing to manufacturing industry are proposed. On the basis of researching on the concept and main methods of network-based design, a kind of remote service model of mechanical design based on ASP model is proposed. Secondly, on the basis of analyzing the major models of distributed computing ,a B/S model-based architecture of remote service system of mechanical design is built. And the main function modules and the service procedures of system are discussed. The key technologies to realize the function of the system are discussed. Especially the technology of object-oriented engineering drawing and files management; the technology of displaying, viewing and marking up engineering drawing based on internet and the technology of web programming are mainly discussed. Finally, a J2EE-based prototype system is established. The middle-tie of system is implemented by using JSP+JavaBean. Design the tables of database and realize database access with JDBC. The architecture of system security is built. And demonstrate the function of the prototype system with a case.The research work of the paper is an attempt using ASP model to small and medium-sized enterprises by providing the remote service of mechanical design. The obtained results will have certain theoretical significance in enriching ASP theory system and accelerating the applicationof ASP technology, and further establish a fundamental for future research of this area. The developed software system, as the part of ASP platform, has an important practical value.
