Research On Bearing Design System Based On ASP Model

Along with the advancement of manufacturing informatization, more and more engineers and technicians are accustomed to using computer to carry on the data processing and design calculation work, but, the existing general CAD/CAM software can't provide complete basic information database and the design method for mechanical product design, when searching some standard basic data, calculating with common formula, and checking, we still need to use paper machinery design manual for inquiry, selection, copy, or use mechanical design manual software version, then input the chosen parameters into the general CAD/CAM software system to make mechanical products design, calculation and drawing, this way of working seriously influence the efficiency.Bearing design process is an experience parameters selection, numerical calculation, result analysis, evaluation, and then parameters selection, calculation, evaluation which is a reiterant process. In the whole process, there are many data tables and line drawings to be processed. In order to help the scientific engineering and technical personnel in the mechanical product design process, accurately choose bearing parameters from data tables and line drawings conveniently, further, to satisfy digital design manufacturing technology development, the development of web-based bearing design system is necessary.This paper develops a bearing design system based on ASP model, realizes inquiry and design calculation of rolling bearing and sliding bearing, and can create design report. That is, a computer aided bearing choose design software is developed, which can realize parameters selection and bearing performance calculating, to help designer choose and design bearing correctly, to simplify design process. The software can be installed on the server of the network application service provider (ASP), which can provide application's rental and management service through internet to enterprises or individual, especially for those small and medium-sized enterprises which want to carry out informatization, but capital insufficiency and IT talents lackThe paper mainly studies the system framework design, system function model design, database design, interface design and implementation etc.
