UPQR based on super capacitor was proposed and operation principles and eachcomponent of the equipment were explained in details in the present paper. It was achievedthat the design of main circuits and control circuits of the equipment. After different detectionmethod of power quality considered, it was compared advantages and disadvantages ofseveral common methods, and it was confirmed to adopt DQ analyzing method based oninstantaneous PQ-theory and slip average mean method. The modulation mode based onSPWM was applied to the converter. In order to improve dc voltage utilization efficiency, itwas concluded that different methods should be applied for different kinds of loads. PIDadjustment enables output voltage close to rated voltage stably. All of control modes werevalidated by simulation and experiment results of prototype UPQR. On the basis of thedesign of controller, DSP assemble language was utilized to finish software design of thesystem. Voltage drops under steady state, dynamic voltage sags, three-phase imbalance andother power quality problems were compensated in experiment. It was proved that the UPQRequipment can efficiently solve above problems and meet expected object. |
