This thesis introduces author's several achievements in research and design of the intelligent charging equipment applied for the electricity Fork-lift, based on the consumers' demand and a number of investigating and researching .The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the principles, structure and the hardware design of the lead-acid battery are introduced. On the basis of charging and discharging property of the maintenance-free lead-acid battery, it is possible that the course of charging imitates the best charge curves with the intelligent charging method of the control of microprocessor.Secondly, on the condition that the 80C196KC microprocessor is in the center of the control, the thyristor digital trigger simply the constitution of the hardware circuit and improves control precision.Lastly, making use of the Data-base Technology and the Visual Technology, this system can set or adjust the parameters conveniently; can enhance the efficiency of keeping or searching the charging information. At the same time, it will increase the ability in management and controlling for the charging equipment, postpone the Lead-Acid batteries' life and decrease the whole cost.
