Study On Architectural Protection Of The Archaic Printery And The Culture Of Engraving Print Of Si Bao

The main purpose of this thesis is focused on the theory and technique of architectural heritage which is concerned on the nonmaterial environmental protection. Architectural heritage has its special values in culture and science as a kind of non-renewable resources. Cultural environment of architectural heritage is usually ignored by people because of its "non-materiality" factor, but this factor is very important to the history. In this thesis, the importance and necessity of protection are mainly analyzing on the aspect of historical and folkloric. The purpose of this study is to ensure comprehensive protection of architectural heritage and direct protection the task from a wider view of "cultural circle". The results of this study may play a significant role not only in social practice but also in theory direction.In the study of architectural protection of archaic printery of Si Bao, Fu Jian that are analysis three cultural environments from Si Bao's architectures such as Hakka cultural environment, the western of Fu Jian cultural environment and printing cultural environment. Architecture is better to comprehend from the view of cultural environment itself. From this way, the architecture can be understood more widely and deeply. This analysis try to overcome traditional methods to analysis the natural environment and use the planar, solid and section plane ways to research architectural heritage.This thesis pointed that using folkloric method to study nonmaterial environmental of architectural heritage that according to the certain characteristics of folklore itself. And this method is concretely applied way in the Si Bao case study. Ranging from preliminary investigation to the data analysis and the formation of protection scheme and the whole process were used some folkloric views. At last, we come out a plan about how can government and citizen to manage the protection as well as the people who doing commercial activities.It is concluded that "nonmaterial environment with the architectural heritage itself developed simultaneously". It is necessary to protect both of them in "integrity" way. And furthermore, they should be protected with equal emphasis from all-round aspects.
