| In recent years, there are three hot issues facing to the international refrigerating industry: CFCs and HCFCs replacement, energy and material saving, modern design method of refrigerating equipment. At the same time, air-conditioners have become daily necessities to improve people's living conditions. However, the more they are used, the more environmental problems and energy consumption they will cause. Therefore, the energy-saving room air-conditioners using the environmental friendly refrigerant will be the fashion.This research was carried out under the above situation. The article focuses on study on steady heating performance of R407C frequency conversion air-conditioners.Firstly, the thermodynamic and physical characteristic of the mixture R407C were studied and analyzed. A program was written to calculate R407C's thermodynamic parameters. The calculated values were compared with the data from ASHRAE HANDBOOK.Secondly, in order to deeply understand the energy-saving characteristic of the frequency conversion air conditioner, simulation model of each component was built up. And then a simulation model of KFPR-35GW air-conditioner was set up to acquire its steady heating performance under actual operating conditions.Thirdly, the simulation model is used to predict the performance of the frequency conversion air-conditioners at various operating frequencies. Results indicate that the lower frequency the air-conditioner runs at, the lower heating capacity it produces, the higher COP it possesses. The frequency conversion air-conditioner runs at low frequencies with higher efficiency, which is the main reason of energy-saving. When indoor temperature keeps constant, the heating capacity and COP will increase with the higher outdoor dry-bulb temperature.The results will be valuable in predicting the performance of frequency conversion air conditioners and guiding the practical research and development of the new products. |
