With the fast maturity of frequency conversion technology, performance price ratio growing incessantly. The frequency converter is more and more important in heating system, for the advantages of poleless speed-adjusting and soft starting for high power motor and saving power significantly. The whole level of central heating system in our country is rather low at present, there are much improvement space from heat source, heat network to heat user, such as the low level automation of heat source system, the low conversion of energy, with the disadvantages of energy wasting and hidden danger in heat network transferring. All the above problems are attributed to the analysis, designing and using of quantities fans and pumps, also the frequency converter play a key role in energy saving for the fans and pumps in the heating system. The article is targeted to focus on the designing of frequency conversion in boiler control system and modification scheme of heat network, with the energy saving topic to do some engineering research.Frequency converter is used to change motor’s speed, adjust the air, water and coal volume, thus adjusting the system loading in heating system. Although there are difference between different brands inverter, it can be divided into3control modes: panel control, terminal control and field-bus control. For the advantages of stable and reliable for system, simple to operate and with a high automation degree, field bus control mode has been the development trend in heating boiler system. Traditional heating supply network work in the method of using the main circulating pump to push the water, for the shortcomings of head loss, hydraulic unbalance, bad expansibility and low energy efficiency in designing technology, the distributed frequency pressing system emerge as the times require. This system is designed to extract the water based on the user’s heating need, to solve the problem in traditional method, with the advantages such as the system safety, easy to extend, etc. Focus on the problems on frequency conversion in the heating source and network, this article does the engineering research based on the heating boiler system of a heating power company in Huludao City and the heating supply distribution system of a university in Dalian. This article based on the technology of heating system, and takes the frequency converter as the core topic to do the research which follows the theme of energy saving. Designed the energy saving boiler control system, and all inverter of the fans and pumps in the system are controlled through Profibus field bus, which makes the system stablely and easily to be controlled. Reformed the traditional heat supply distribution system to the distributed frequency pressing system, analyzed the designing technology and researched the measured data of the running system, applied the theory to the project of heating system reforming, which saved the distribution electric energy about14.73%, which also has the advantages such as adjusting easily, heating supply quality better. It is a good reference significance to the technology reform for other heating enterprises in this case.
