The Study Of Multidimensional Connecting Space Between Comprehensive Building And Urban Traffic System

Multidimensional connecting space refers to the multidimensional public space formation of the connecting spaces of comprehensive buildings, urban spaces, and urban traffic system. The recent energetic expand of urban construction, the process of urbanization, the changes of social demand, and rapid development of urban mobile traffic system lead to the trend towards multidimensional urban space and its traffic system. Corresponding with this, the building spaces are breaking through the former close state, evolving as a dynamic open system that is multi-level and multiplex, and getting involved in the urban system actively. So that the boundaries between the buildings and the urban spaces disappeared day after day, while a new style of space, which could merge and conncet the building spaces and urban spaces, appeared.Multidimensional connecting space plays a significant role in the urban function and cityscape system. It is the circulation node of people and materials both inside the city and between the city and buildings, and it is also a component of cityscape and characteristic environment.However, the design of such kind of space is still in the beginning stages, and there are not mature theory and designing method or perfect relevant policies and management to support it, so there are still many problems in the construction of multidimensional connecting space. This text made some analysis and researches on such kind of public space in order to find some designing theories about the construction of multidimensional connecting space. So that it may provide some references to the programming, policy making, and organizing design of the construction of this kind of space.I started with the emergence background of multidimensional connecting space todiscuss its scope, relevant concepts, and development trend. Then introduced the recent condition and problems in the construction of the connecting space, and analyzed the root of those problems. In the main part of the text, I researched the basic characteristic of multidimensional connecting space on the basis of my own understanding and some achievements of predecessors, and from these researches I advanced some designing methods from architecture angle. In the end of the text, I provided some qualitative valuation standards of the construction of multidimensional connecting space, and made some analysis on it with examples.All the researches and analysis in the text, no matter successful or not, are all positive exploration to the urban construction theory. They are beneficial and of realizable significance.
