A Case Study On The Flatland Type Regional Small Watershed Eco-landscape Unit Of Human Settlements On The Loess Plateau

The paper focuses on the case study of the flatland type regional small watershed eco-landscape unit of human settlements, which is part of the fund research project "The theory and method research of ecological landscape security pattern for the planning of human settlements on loess plateau". It was supported by the National natural science Foundation of China.Directed by theoretical model of flatland type regional small watershed eco-landscape unit ,based on three typical classification as "valley type", "river valley type" and "flatland type", the study case choose the area Lingqian Yuan of Sanyuan county between Zhaoshi River and Zhuoyu River..According to the actual condition of the loess plateau, bringing together theories of ecology, eco-landscape and the science of human settlements, with analyzing the eco-landscape pattern, the case study was started form establish boundaries of eco-landscape unit to scientific investigation with whole unit.Its findings provide the scientific foundation for a method of setting the boundaries and basis of geomorphological and hydrological particular. According to amultidisciplinary system with division of geomorphology, hydrology, vegetation, social economy and space of urban, analyzed the characteristics of land-space in unit at the area Lingqian Yuan, including the evolution, distribution of towns & villages in the landform unit.Based on ecological landscape security theoretical model of flatland type unit, analyzed the ecological landscape pattern, inductive reasoning the eco-landscape security pattern, Reconfiguration the unit system and eco-landscape element. It constructs wilh three systems as human construction system, human living support system and natural support system. Through out dissecting each system, find out the existing ecological problems and its causes. Trying to explore the ecological land security local model of Lingqian Yuan.Still summarized the basic and unique feature, give out ecological problems of unit as well as the suggestions of towns planning in a ecological way by assuring the edge of planning area, the practical way of the planning process to combine with multidisciplinary.
