In this paper, the structural types, performance characteristics and the situations of research and application of commonly used superplasticizers at home and abroad were introduced in detail. The development condition and the problems in practice of Naphthalene series supeiplasticizer were also analysed.By using the mono-factor experiments, the influences of the Moore ratio of monomers, the reaction time and temperature in every stage and the reaction acidity etc. on the performances of Naphthalene series supeiplasticizer were studied systematically; the optimal synthesizing technology parameters were obtained. The use of optimal synthesizing technology in industry is able to improve not only the production efficiency, but also the product performance. Based on the optimal synthesizing parameters, through mono-factor and the perpendicular experiments at the same time, the effecting extent of raw material quality and partial parameters on the performances of Naphthalene Series superplasticizer were studied in detail. The influencing principles of Naphthalene purity, the concentration of sulphuric acid and formaldehyde on the performances of Naphthalene Series supeiplasticizer were gotten. The gained achievements have a certain guiding significance for the industrial production of Naphthalene series supeiplasticizer.The compounding methods of Naphthalene series and Aminosulfonic-based superplasticizer were also researched. The results show that the ratio of water-reducing is higher, the compatibility between superplasticizer and cement is better and the slump loss is lower by compounding at about 55°C than that by compounding at normal temperature.According to national standard and correlation trade criterions, the perfoniiances of product were tested. The experiment results show that the performances of Naphthalene series superplasticizer with optimal synthesizing technology are prior to that of product without optimal synthesizing technology.
