The research was part of the project《The Research and Development of New Type Wind Turbine:600W-1kW founded by ISTDP of Inner Mongolia .The purpose was to improve the design of the previous 1kW Permanent Magnetic Generator of Wind Turbine by the theory and technique of CWET and to develop a kind of 1kW Permanent Magnetic Generator,which requires low rotation,high efficiency and high reliability.By the analysis and study of the theory and technique on modern permanent magnet machines, synthesize the characteristic of The CWET, adopting the electromagnetism designing method of combining field and circuit, combining the previous experience,aiming the problem of the previously generator, improved the design and trial-produced two sample generator. The electricity characteristic of two sample generator (named No.1 and No.2) was tested. The result shows the rating output power can be reached 1kW at 230rpm that is 50rpm lower than the demand rotate 280rpm of NS. The two sample generator both meet the demand of NS. The output voltage of idling after commutating is 2.1V and 0.8V higher than the rating voltage. The start resistance torque, efficiency and temperature increase of two sample machine is 0.752Nm, 1.255Nm, 75.05%, 74.9% and 44K, 56.1K, respectively. These results indicates the rotate of two sample machines is low for reaching rating voltage, various indices of two sample machines meet the requirement of NS. The efficiency during 65%~100% rating rotate is higher than the efficiency in rating rotate.It can make The CWET operate in high efficiency and improved wind resourse utlize and generating capacity .The generator can be used in other power equipment.
