This dissertation is based on the key project in 10th Five-Year Plan of Anhui Ministry Science and Technology. The main aim is to develop a real-time sound intensity sampling system with multi-pipes for sound intensity. These include design for programmable voltage amplifier and programble low pass filter, realization of fast transmission using USB and 4-channel, simultaneous-sampling with high speed. The design supports the portable and reliable hardware for the measure of Sound Intensity and Power Measurement. And a real-time sound intensity sampling system is composed of hardware, firmware/driver and app software. And the system has ability of 4-channel, simultaneous-sampling under 50KHz, 256 switch for programmable voltage amplifier, and programble low pass filter. This system can sample large real-time data without losing. A set of software using Multiple Document Interface(MDI) running under Microsoft Win98 / Win2000 is developed. At first, the available sound intensity instruments and the development tendency are dissected in this dissertation, and the purport of this project is discussed. After the main frame is analysed, the hardware system, software system, low level driver, high level application in the EZAD system system and testing of performance are discussed detailedly.
