The paper reviews fault recorder device's development and application in power system, and a new design project of Web based Generator-Transformer units fault recording and inspecting system is put forward based on analysis of current fault recorder device's disadvantages to satisfy the demands of power system. The paper systemically introduces project design principle, basic hardware structure, Web functions and software function partition.According to application request of Web functions of Generator-Transformer units fault recording and inspecting system, the paper analyzes its related technologies and difficulty. Some technology problems, such as online running state monitoring of Generator-Transformer Units and graphics display of remote client, are necessary to remote management of Generator-Transformer units fault recording and inspecting system based on Web. A flexible and simple solution is the application of ActiveX control. The paper introduces ActiveX control's design including graphics and communication units in detail, and the Winsock communication mode is emphasized.Generator-Transformer units fault recording and inspecting system offers abundant software functions; according to fault recording and inspecting system's feature based on Web, the paper introduces the software design of Web-server, including user management and database management of data file and device fixed value. Also, local management software design, compatible design of fault data analysis software and batch management for a mass of stable data are introduced.The static and dynamic tests are carried out to verify the Generator-Transformer units fault record and inspect system's performances, and the results show that it offers reliable hardware and good capability, so the Generator-Transformer units fault recording and inspecting system can satisfy the development demands of power system. |
