The Study And Application Of Information System Of Relay Protection And Fault Record

At present, the microcomputer relay protection and fault recorder is rapidly expanding, and has achieved a large-scale stage of popularity. The infonnation system of relay protection and fault record is also appearing at a historic moment.It has become the most important way to analyze power system faults and process relay protection information.The information system of relay protection and fault record has provided a unified platform. Its major function is to collect and manage each kind of information delivered by the relay protection and intelligent automatic device in the substation.The information may help power workers to control and monitor the electrical equipment.So the information system can improve operation and management level of the power system.In Beijing Power Grid, The master system(Beijing Electric Power Dispatch Center) uses the NS8000 system built by the GuoDian NICE company. Each substation information system uses different devices from different companies. This paper analyzes the NS8000 system, and the Beijing SIFANG automation company's CSFM-2002 system.This article discusses:the structure, function, communication protocol and project application in the Beijing Power Grid's fault information system.This paper also analyzes the system's localization, demand analysis, information foundation model, construction strategy, overall concept, and it's current situation one by one. It also introduces some experience obtained from implementing this information system in the Beijing Electric Power Corporation and its operation.It also gives some proposals on the existing system's problems, the system's debugging method, the technology's standard requests, and prospects for development in the information system of relay protection and fault record.
