| The research of prediction for asphalt pavement service life, using fall weight deflectometer(FWD) multi-load deflection basin data, has been existing abroad, but nobody do the job in china. Basing on the existing research, this paper disserted the structure, major feature and principle of FWD. A structure model is provided to definite the structure system of asphalt pavement. According to the relationship between FWD deflection basin and the vertical displacement of asphalt pavement under the load plate centre, the response models of asphalt pavement are established after the analysis of KENLAYER program. Three pavement performance models including fatigue performance cracking model, permanent deformation model and rutting depth model, are used to predict pavement service life. In addition, the effects of traffic and environment are considered in this paper, including converting the actual traffic data to a 100kN single-axle load, traffic space-time distribution, effects by temperature and moisture. In order to predict asphalt pavement service life more accurately, improvements are made by existing research in this paper:(1) It will be better to conform to asphalt pavement character to consider advanced asphalt pavement structure model as linear-viscoelastic and nonlinear-elastic combination system.(2) In order to consider the strain effect causing by load, a load pressure is inducted to advanced pavement strain response model, and the regression strain equation relate to load pressure.(3) An equation for pavement rutting depth under multi-load is derived by using Ohio state permanent deformation model.(4) A new multi-control-standard idea for prediction of pavement service life is hold out, which including damage ratio and rutting depth.(5) While considering the effect of traffic load and environment, the seasonal consideration of traffic and environment are also involved in, such as traffic volume and temperature is different in every month. |
