| With the development of national economy and road transportation, more and more vehicles of oversize and overload are operating on road, which causes the distresses such as fatigue, rutting etc, shortens the service life of asphalt pavement and worsens its performance level.Based on previous research results and analyses of the impact of heavy-load traffic on service life of asphalt pavement, this paper ,taking FUDIAN highway in Shan'xi province as example, discusses the effects of heave-loads on the mechanical responses ,deflection, bend, rutting, and fatigue life of asphalt pavement structure, then the actual pavement life of FUDIAN highway under heave-load traffic is predicted. The results indicate that because of heavy load, the accumulative calculation of load axes will deviate and the actual accumulative total axes, stress in pavement structure increase by a large proportion. Distresses such as fatigue, rutting appear in advance, and eventually the service life of pavement decreases. |
