With the rapid development of microcomputer control technology, it becomes the inevitable development trend that power system prime mover simulation system control evolves from traditional analogue control to digital control. At present, in the existing domestic prime mover simulation systems, using analogue control circuit has some weaknesses, for example, the complexity of the circuit structure, the easy aging of electronic components,the easy influence of environment temperature, low anti-disturbance ability. This paper adopts microcomputer digitized scheme to design the Governor of simulation system on the basis of TC787 trigger circuit simulation system,So it can overcome weak points well.This paper introduces the evolution of the prime mover simulation system, domestic and international research status, resource. Meanwhile,explained the principle of the prime mover simulation system is described. Principle of the prime mover simulation system and established its mathmatics model,The new-type control algorithms related to computer control technology, program design methods and parameter-made methods are introduced to design prime mover simulation system. Hence, the structure of the control system get optimized. The paper analyzes design scheme of the Governor of simulation system on the basis of TC787 trigger circuit simulation system profoundly. The function of measurement system protect prime mover simulation is strengthened and the circuit board (PCB) is designed optimally.The prime mover simulation control system has simpler hardware control circuit, smaller volume, and higher adaptability. LCD-screen display show technology has adopted in the system, hence it can provide users with intuitionistic and good user operation interface. Static and dynamic experiment results show that it can better control the self-balance characteristic of prime mover Governor. The control precision, reliability and stability of the whole system have been improved greatly. The various kinds of parameters may meet the anticipated design requirement in the scheme and it has better performance cost ratio and production application prospect.
