With the reformation of the electric power system, separation of the factory and network, and setting up the electric power market, cultivating the competition mechanism, developing the electric power quantity will become the important means that electric power business enterprises win victory in competition. On the one hand, only develop electric power quantity continuously can meet the different needs of the customer and win the reliance; On the other hand, according to the social economic development, electric equipments is becoming more and more exactitude and complex so that the sensitivity to the electric power quantity is enhancing too, at one time, with improvement of the living standard, the demands to the electric power quantity and reliability of the power supply are becoming more and more strict; Thirdly, because the non-liner loads are increasing, so the infection to the electric power quantity is increasing too; Fourthly, with developing the electric power quantity especially voltage quantity can reduce the power waste of the network, and increase the enterprise's benefit. Therefore, the electric power quantity becomes the important problem that electric business enterprise must pay attention to and deal with.In order to develop the electric power quantity especially voltage quantity, we must optimize the reactive power of the network, but reactive power optimization have no a recognized model in mathematics, so that establishing a proper model is the chiefly problem to solve. This paper cited a great deal of literature to do a general introduce to the existed reactive power optimization algorithm, and point out the advantage and shortage of every algorithm, so that roundly reflected the status of thedevelopment in this field. Based on the general compare, aiming at the problem system this paper emphasized the interior point algorithm which based on the affine transformation to optimize the reactive power in area system and obtained a nice effect. From this we can see, compared with other interior point algorithm this algorithm takes on the simpler transform, and has a particularly high calculate efficiency on the calculation of mass problem which contains a lot of number calculation results and affirms the affine transformation, in addition to its simple structure, the iterative times have little infection with the size of the network and the number of control variable, so it has a some very good strongpoint such as robustness and astringency, therefore this algorithm is recognized as the most applied way in the interior point algorithm at present. This paper brought forward and analyzed the control strategy on reactive power optimization.Using the algorithm model this paper put forward to do a disperse reactive poweroptimization of the actual system--a area power supply system in Yibin, and alsodo a setting calculation on the capacitor's on-off and the adjusting of the transformer's tap. This case indicated that this algorithm and setting method have very nice practicability and optimization performance, it not only take the superior variety curve of voltage and reactive power into concerned but also have considered the demand on the decreasing the action times of tap and the restriction of capacitor's maximum action times. The calculation result validated the correctness, reliability and the ability which to deal with the mass system's disperse reactive power optimization of the algorithm this paper put forward. By this theory the distributed voltage control system which based on the disperse reactive power optimization on whole network can be used to voltage and reactive power control in the whole area electric network, and also can be used at a part of the whole area network's voltage and reactive power control, it has the nice disparking nature and expansibility.
