Organization In Supporting System

The dissertation is the second part of the series. Its content covers the research of organization of urban design, based on the discussing of the Supporting System of Urban Design in the first dissertation in this series.As we all know, great difficulties are in the way in the practice of urban design job today. Therefore the Supporting System is brought forward in order to ensure the running successfully of urban design. As an element of the Supporting System, the organization does its work as the subject of urban design.The dissertation consists of four chapters. Chapter I, the preface, shows the thesis.In Chapter II, the meaning of organization is firstly made out, which includes two aspect, the collectivity and the consecution of the organization elements. And then, the form, the function and the process in the practice of urban design are discussed. Two examples are given last.Chapter III gives two characters of the organization today in our country, the one, appertaining to city plan department, and the second, the schism between design and management. Then four bugs are pointed out in the practice of urban design currently.In Chapter IV, some advices are given for the optimization of the organization, which including the adjusting of the organization, the improvement of the function, and the integrity of the process.
