Spatial Plan Research Of Research University And Its Peripheral Locality

The thesis, based on the summarizations of the historical planning and constructing laws of the main spatial organizing form of the new high-tech industry -the scientific and technological industrial park -proposes that the developing environment of the new high-tech industry can only be formed in the peripheral locality of research universities. The author, first, analyzes the impact that the research universities and the new high-tech industry have made to the city function and space structure of the peripheral locality, points out the function orientation and macroscopically position selection of the peripheral locality of the research universities, summarizes planning principles and brings forward the basic models of the space planning. Then, the author makes a detailed description, combining with the shrewd increasing tactics, on the arrangement of the mixed land exploitation in terms of community, subdivides the space models, and finally sets up a relatively complete operable space model.This thesis is divided into six parts:Chapter 1 proceeds with background of this research, establishes research significance, its originality, frame, and ways of thinking of this thesis.Chapter 2 makes a survey and summarizes the research on the theory and practice from the perspective of new high-tech industry space organizing form and University City, and defines such concepts as scientific and technological industrial park, University City, Research University, and community.Chapter 3 reviews the planning and constructing history of the scientific and technological industrial park, illustrates its enlightening significance, and advances the concept of peripherallocality of Research University.Chapter 4, at first, analyzes the characteristics of Research University and new high- tech industry in terms of macroscopic perspective, and the impact on peripheral locality of the two, making a functional orientation to the peripheral locality of Research University. Secondly, the selection of macroscopically position is proposed, based on the analysis of the constitution of peripheral locality of Research University. At last, the planning principles of the peripheral locality of Research University are put forward.Chapter 5 outlines the basic models of the peripheral locality of research university, makes a detailed design, combining with the shrewd increasing tactics, on the arrangement of the mixed land exploitation in terms of community, subdivides the space models, and finally sets up a relatively complete operable space model.Chapter 6 applies the research results to the planning of the peripheral locality of Zhejiang University and XiaSha new town, proposing the revision to the existing planning.
