Study On The Planning And Design Of University Campus Space Based On The Analyses Of Behavior

With the flourish development of our higher education and the accelerating process of urbanization, the location, layout, planning and design of university campus space attract the relevant academic theorists, planning department and even government department to pay more attention, In order to avoid repeating the mistakes in campus planning in the past, implement the concepts of "humanism" and "sustainable development", and create such campus with humanity, ecology, information and opening, the paper takes some campuses in Xi'an for example, analyzes the layout and planning of campus space from macro to micro levels, on the basis of research results home and abroad, with the theory of environmental psychology, behavioral architecture, city planning, city design and so on, by the methods of field survey, road test and own experience.The study considers that social ideas, cultural philosophy, higher education ideas and city planning ideas are important impact factors and basic premise to the campus space planning. The trends of modern university campus space are humanity, ecology, opening, information, feature, sustainability. It is a basic question that how to coordinate the way of space layout, such as open space or closed space, centralization or decentralization. It must be important. Meanwhile, take the attracting space and walking space for the main outdoor space (public space). The paper puts forwards three basic principles, which are clear space function, convenient to reach and accordance of space form and function to meet different persons. They have places to go, eager to go, enjoy space and have their own pleasure, so the outdoor space is more attracting. Besides, use the attracting elements in the walking space to strengthen the guidance of walking space and enhance the effectives of attracting space. The study achievements make an effort to analyze the present university campus space from macro layout to micro design, also has certain theoretical and applied reference value.
