Study On Engine Test Bench CAT System

This paper mainly introduces the whole development process of the engine test system.The engine is one of the most important power machines in the industrial production, which is widely used in such aspects as automobile,shipping,railway,aviation.With the development of industry, more and more high expectations have put on the performance of the engine.Therefore, the performance test means of the engine and data analytiacal method have been further required.It is necessary to have practical and swift engine test system.As the most important part of the teaching content of internal-combustion engine major,engine test enables the students of the internal-combustion engine major to cognize the various performance parameters and law of changing.Based on the advanced data collecting equipment,this paper develops practical software of engine test.On the one hand,the software can be used for the students of the internal-combustion engine major.On the other hand,it also can be used in the actual production on the premise of improving precision.This paper introduces the engine performance test data collecting and analytical system based on Windows,which has the advantages of good human-computer interaction interfaces, high precision, reliable and timely data processing. Data collecting system developed by LabWindows/CVI software has greatly improved the efficiency of the engine performance test and lightenned the burden of testing personnel.This system is mainly applyed to test teaching.It saves the cost and raises the efficiency. The test results indicate that this system realizes the anticipated purpose and has good commonability and practical value.
