In loop closing operation of distribution network, both stable state current and impactcurrent should be considered. This paper proposed a new algorithm to calculate the stablestate current and impact current of distribution network loop closing, which based on meshequivalence. To get the equivalence network by preserve the distribution network and use theEMS and SCADA system's real time data to equivalent the exterior power grid. Solve out thestable state current with the equivalence network and the superposition algorithm. Calculatethe maximum impact current with the equivalence network and formulation witch proves inthis paper. The result shows that the calculate method is simple, fast, and accuracy.
