With the development of national economy, the need of industrial electricity becomes more and more critical. A serial of turbine supervisory instrument(TSI) which is accurate and reliable is pressing for the electrical-machine group of stream turbine, while the fire-power plant grow rapidly. It can provide the malfunction forecast for the secure run of stream turbine. Today the MCU of TSI of inland is only 8-bit single chip, some even the analog circuit, which is weak in accuracy, reliability, intelligence. So new TSI which is accurate, reliable, convenient is expected.The TSI is just for the power plant, which includes the embedded technology , communication technology and DB technology. It consists of the hardware and the software. The former is the toucher-display module based on 32bit-S3C44B0X and the high secure combined meters based on the MCU of LPC2104, which gather the signal from the local, while analyzing and dealing with the data; the latter comprises the embedded operation system which reasonably allots and administers the resource based on one arithmetic in the need of RT and reliable and the configuration software. The configurable software not only can set the combined parameter for the inferior equipment, but also can reflect the equipment status in time.The TSI which is based on the MCU of ARM core and the embedded OS has been put forward and performed in the article referring the newest technology of TSI of the domestic and the overseas. At the same time , the design theory and the construction of hardware have been introduced in detail, while the circuit diagram provided. Furthermore the process schedule of RTOS has been analysed emphatically based on the RMS arithmetic. The realization of Modbus has also been researched . As the key technologies, the transportation of RTOS, the design of embedded components and the driver of toucher have all been discussed systematically and detailedly, while the original codes provided.The TSI not only has the virtue of high real time but also has the character of reliability and intellecture, which is superior to the same products of inland. It has been praised by the users.
